Wedding DIY: How to Make Embellished Invitations
One of our team members recently used the Dangling Lights Wedding Invitations and Enclosure Cards to host a bachelorette weekend + bridal shower for a friend. Here’s how she added a little sparkle for less than $15.
All you need for this project is your invitations and a fine-point glitter pen in a coordinating color. Before you start, decide how many how many glitter dots you want to add and where you want them to do.
This technique works well with the Dangling Lights suite because the draped lighting design acts as a pre-printed template. We added 25 dots to the invitations and 34 dots to the enclosure cards, but you may want more or less sparkle. All of the dots were placed symmetrically and evenly spaced.
Make sure you allow each invitation plenty of time to dry before stacking or placing them into envelopes.
